American Girl Doll Fashion Show

This past weekend, Maisie was a model in the American Girl Doll Fashion Show - benefitting the Aubrey Rose Foundation.  This has been many months in the making and when the big day finally arrived she was so excited!

After several summers of being too scared to even think about it - Maisie finally took the plunge and decided to ride her two wheeler.  She took off like she had been doing it her whole life!

Kenzie's tree bloomed!  It's beautiful!

Spring has sprung!

Spring has come early to the tri-state area - and we couldn't be happier!  The projects have started, the garden is green and the trees are in bloom.  Today, B helped me put Mackenzie's fountain together.  So excited!

One of my favorite parts of spring is when the weeping cherry aka Kenzie's tree blooms.  There have been a ton of buds and today I found the first blooms!  They don't last long enough but I smile every time I look at it - thinking of her.

Maisie and I ended the day at Xavier's Cintas Center watching Payton and MCE cheer.  They were amazing.  So proud of Payte and all her hard work.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Just wanted to take a quick second to wish a Happy Valentine's Day (a day early) and share the Valentines the kids and I made.  Thank you Pinterest!

The photos really don't do them justice - I had to use Maisie's camera as my SD card ended up at work for the weekend.  They turned out so cute and we had a blast making them.

Tree climbers

It was a beautiful sunny day today.  We took the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.  Baseball, pogo stick, bikes, scooters and tree climbing.  It was great to get outside and soak up some Vitamin D.  Can't wait for spring!

Max M - soccer star

Max has started playing soccer this year.  He plays indoor on the Happy Feet team - and loves it.  He gets a little worn out at times but all and all enjoys his time on the field.
